Neil joined Lloyd’s List in 2016 after a decade as head of content and managing editor at Fairplay, having been recruited from his role as program director at Australia’s public broadcaster, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). Before moving into that role, Neil hosted state and national radio programmes for the ABC. He became a radio host after three tours of duty as the ABC’s Latin America correspondent, working for Time magazine covering the guerrilla wars in Nicaragua and El Salvador, foreign editor for Australian TV’s Seven Network and other positions in news media in New Zealand and his native Australia.
