UN tries to raise $80m to fix FSO Safer, but gets just $33m

A UN meeting at The Hague raised $33m of its $80m target to transfer oil from floating storage vessel Safer to another ship, averting the risk of a catastrophic spill. The IMO and Greenpeace called for more funds, with $144m needed for the whole operation
