Maersk’s methanol maker says others will follow in its fuel footsteps

WasteFuel founder Trevor Neilson says there is plenty of domestic and farm waste from which to make shipping and aviation fuel

The company making methanol for Maersk tells Lloyd’s List that other companies will follow its lead. It says making renewable methanol is less carbon intensive than renewable gas, and calls hydrogen ‘the most talked about and least viable solution to the climate emergency’
