Crew rescued from listing Dutch cargoship Eemslift Hendrika off Norway

Smit has been hired to salvage the yacht carrier Eemslift Hendrika. Four crew members had to jump overboard to be rescued on Monday night, and a service boat carried as cargo has fallen off the ship

A Dutch cargoship is in danger of sinking off Norway after it started listing and taking on water, prompting the urgent rescue of 12 crew yesterday. The ship has about 350 tonnes of heavy oil on board. Plans are being drawn up to salvage the ship, but bad weather is hampering the operation
