Rio Tinto sees Chinese policies supportive of commodity demand

The mining giant shipped 330.6m tonnes of iron ore from its Pilbara complex in Western Australia last year, up 1% from 2019 and forecasts 2021 exports at a similar level as it deals with uncertainties due to the pandemic

The Anglo–Australian company expects to ship between 325m to 340m tonnes of iron ore from Australia in 2021. Yet, it continues to face uncertainty about how the pandemic will impact projects in its iron ore business
