Norway pioneers ‘flexible’ fuel cell technology to cut emissions by 40%
New fuel cell technology, which is touted as flexible, could cut shipping’s emissions by 40%, or even up to 100%, according to a pilot research project set up in Norway
The system, which provides flexibility in terms of fuel use, will first be tested at the Sustainable Energy catapult centre in Norway, before installation on one of Odfjell's newest chemical tankers
