Suppliers call on associations to end payment frustration
The president of ISSA, representing suppliers and service providers, is seeking closer collaboration with shipping associations to bring an end to repeated lengthy delays to payment for delivery.
Saeed Al Malik says suppliers can’t keep knocking on shipowners’ doors to ask for payment for services already delivered. He wants agreements with industry organisations to respect codes of ethics
