V.Group confirmed as manager for Xihe tankers

V.Group will manage 16 tankers on the fleet of tankers held under the Xihe Group of vessel-owning vehicles linked to the family of Hin Leong’s founder. This is seen as the start of more partnerships to come between Xihe and professional shipmanagers

The deal between Xihe and V.Group was announced just a day before a scheduled court hearing on an application by OCBC Bank to place the vessel-owning affiliates of Hin Leong under the care of court-appointed supervisors
