Time is right for fledgling Guinea shipping line

Better application of Guinea's mining law, which mandates that the state has the first right of refusal to ship 50% of all the mined commodities of each concession, is expected to help get Guinea Shipping Corporation off the ground. The company aims to build a shipping line for Guinea that also provides a platform to develop the country’s own maritime industry

GSC plans to set up a platform that will provide shipping services for all mining concessions in Guinea that are coming up for production
