EIA: lower transport costs, narrow price spread will make Europe the ‘preferred destination’ for US LNG exports
US LNG exports to Europe have topped amounts going to Asia so far this year, with France, Spain and the Netherlands accounting for more than half. Less expensive transportation costs and a narrow spread between spot market prices in the two regions will make Europe the “preferred destination” for US LNG exports, said the US Energy Information Association
