PGNiG more than doubles Plaquemines LNG purchase agreement

Following a visit to the White House, Poland's President Andrzej Duda agreed national energy company PGNiG will increase its LNG purchase agreement from Venture Global’s Plaquemines facility to 2.5m tonnes per annum, from a previously agreed 1m tonnes. The 20-year contract follows the free on board formula, giving PGNiG discretion on where LNG cargoes are transported

From 2023, the Polish Oil and Gas Company will receive a total of 3.5m tonnes per annum of LNG from Venture Global’s facilities in the US Gulf
