Lloyd’s Register gets recognised organisation status in Italy

British-based classification society Lloyd’s Register has been awarded recognised organisation status by the Italian flag administration and is now authorised to issue statutory certification on its behalf to all seagoing ships sailing with the Italian flag

The classification society will establish an Italy branch of LR Group to allow it fully to service Italian customers, it said
