Singapore details steps to deal with non-compliant fuel
While reassuring that compliant fuel will be available, the MPA also highlighted that even vessels filing a Fonar that come to the port with non-compliant fuel will be required to offload the fuel and take on compliant bunker. The MPA has also reasserted that a wide range of fuels, including compliant fuel, will be available at the port and some major oil companies have also already conducted trials of low-sulphur fuel
