Singapore details steps to deal with non-compliant fuel

While reassuring that compliant fuel will be available, the MPA also highlighted that even vessels filing a Fonar that come to the port with non-compliant fuel will be required to offload the fuel and take on compliant bunker. The MPA has highlighted clear steps for vessels to take before arriving at the port

The MPA has also reasserted that a wide range of fuels, including compliant fuel, will be available at the port and some major oil companies have also already conducted trials of low-sulphur fuel
