Keppel O&M may rue playing the friend in need

Through various parts of its bigger corporate parent, the yard group seems to be increasingly being drawn into providing help to its clients. This may be an inevitable response to keep up with its competitors, but it could well prove to be a slippery slope that turns out to be unhelpful in the long term
