Diana sells two panamaxes to affiliated parties

Greek bulker owner Diana Shipping is disposing of some of its older ships and has said it likes the maths of repurchasing its own stock. The latest move in these directions is the sale of two older panamaxes to affiliated parties and with more than a dozen unencumbered bulkers still in the fleet, more sales could follow

Disposals should be seen in context of strategy to phase out older tonnage and repurchase stock ‘at a discount’
