Dorian LPG increases scrubber investment

The John Hadjipateras-led very large gas carrier owner appears increasingly optimistic that there is a solid business case for scrubbers, revealing it has slated more of its vessels to be equipped with the abatement technology. The company recorded higher profits in the last quarter of the year but suffered losses on derivatives

The gas carrier now has 10 vessels contracted for scrubbers ahead of the 2020 sulphur cap
