Two shortlisted for Lumsden Point cargo development at Port Hedland
After years of delay, the Pilbara Ports Authority has shortlisted two companies to draw up plans to build and operate Lumsden Point. The area, at the southeastern end of the inner harbour, can accommodate a logistics hub, general cargo wharves and cargo lay down areas
The new facilities are expected to be operational by 2021 and will increase port capacity for businesses currently operating in the Pilbara
