Terror group link to abducted seafarers off Malaysia

Members of the Abu Sayyaf Group kidnapped three seafarers from an unknown vessel near Malaysia. The kidnappers are believed to have moved towards the Philippines and efforts are underway to locate them

A report by the Regional Co-operation Agreement on Combating Piracy and Armed Robbery against Ships in Asia claims three seafarers were abducted from a vessel by about 20 men with guns
