HHLA paves way for Hamburg hyperloop

German terminal operator signs joint venture with US-based research company HTT to develop a hyperloop capable of handling standard shipping containers. A transfer station and freight capsule will be created in Hamburg to determine the concept’s feasibility.

A new joint venture company has been created to facilitate the hyperloop project, split 50/50 between HHLA and HTT, known as Hyper Port Cargo Solutions
