Glencore targets rise in coal production

Commodities trader and miner is expecting a rise in coal production next year, with volumes steady through to 2021. The expected higher output is attributed to acquisitions and a return to normalised operations at its Colombian mine

Glencore is expecting coal production to reach about 145m tonnes in 2019 through to 2021 compared with about 132m tonnes this year
