IMO approves sulphur cap guidance
Amid continued concerns about the side effects of the 2020 sulphur cap, particularly the complications that new and blended fuels could cause, the IMO’s Marine Environment Protection Committee has endorsed guidance that could help allay some of these fears. The guidance on the development of a ship implementation plan addresses potential fuel safety risks and procurement of compliant fuels, among other issues
