Slow steaming is ‘most realistic’ emissions curb, says Prokopiou

Although sulphur cap conversation recently has boiled down to a binary battle between compliant fuels and scrubbers, leading Greek shipowner George Prokopiou has spoken up in favour of the so-called third solution of imposing slow steaming across the industry. Wanting answers as to why the seemingly-attractive solution has not gained more traction, Mr Prokopiou also took the opportunity to give his views on scrubbers
