Navios Containers pulls US IPO

Monoco-based boxship owner has halted its $100m IPO plan and is now looking to sell shares directly in US. The move comes after chief executive Angeliki Frangou told investors on a recent roadshow that the industry “is still at an early stage of recovery”

The company said it has ceased marketing its proposed U.S. share offering, adding it is `developing a plan to pursue a direct listing on a U.S. Stock Exchange, consistent with prior publicly stated goals'
