STX Dalian wins $390m Essar bulk carrier order

ESSAR Shipping & Logistics, the Cyprus-based holding company of India’s third-largest shipowner Essar Shipping, has signed an order with South Korea’s STX Shipyard for six new mini-capesize bulk carriers for a total of Rs15.36bn ($390m).
