Oil keeps economy bubbling
KUWAIT’s oil-driven economy is going through something of a boom, as witnessed by the massive amount of building works taking place across the upper Gulf state. The country achieved an average GDP growth rate of over 25% a year between 2002 and 2006, and there is still no sign of any real slowdown.
