Harbour works keep DEME busy
ON AN annual basis the orderbook for the Antwerp dredging and environmental group DEME is rapidly reaching a record of €2bn ($2.6bn), heavily influenced by large-scale harbour works in Durban and at Fos-sur-Mer in France. The new contracts ensure enough work and an optimal fleet occupation for the coming years, with the African contracts alone valued at €200m.
