Fishing vessel scuttling case falls under Scotland’s net
A SUNDERLAND-based insurance company that paid out nearly £600,000 ($1.2bn) on a sunken Scottish fishing vessel, only for the owner to later admit to having scuttled and sunk the vessel himself, has lost a fight to bring its claim to recover the money in England, rather than Scotland.
