THE US-based Hydrogen Engine Center is hoping to work with investment group Brightwell Holdings, which represents Turkish boat builder Labranda, in co-operation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation and International Centre for Hydrogen Energy Technologies to design, test, build and ship up to 200 alternative-fuelled marine engines capable of running on compressed natural gas and/or hydrogen for use in water taxis.
