Brazil’s Brito earmarks $148m for Itajai flood repairs
BRAZILIAN Ports Minister Pedro Brito, pictured third from right, was back in the flood-stricken port of Itajai again last week to make a further inspection of the damage caused to the port’s container berths and fine tune plans for R$350m ($148m) of emergency funding for reconstruction and emergency dredging, writes Rob Ward.
