All in a day’s work
LIFEBOATMEN and air-sea rescue helicopter crews do amazing things, quite routinely. But the rescue of lives against sometimes great odds, and at risk of their own safety is, you might argue, part of their job. It is why, in the case of the Royal National Lifeboats Institution, we all queue to stuff money into their tins, to keep this splendid voluntary service growing.
