Asia major China now Japan’s main export customer
A Tokyo container terminal: figures released by Japan’s finance ministry show exports rebounded in July, as China replaced the US as the nation’s largest export customer. China now imports more more Japanese goods than all European countries combined, while the continuing credit crunch in the US saw a fall in demand for Japanese products, particularly cars. Bloomberg
