Gas Market Report
NORTH WEST EUROPE: Large cargoes: Falling crude and naphtha have started a sharp decline in large propane cargo values bringing them down to the $900 level. The question is now, will it be sustained or will there be a recovery? Most player believe that there is more downside to come as storages are full, imports are still arriving in the area and the petchems are well supplied and even trying to offload some of the cargoes. Little salvation for prices could be found as North Sea terminals are heading towards shutdowns and maintenance but the effects could be outweighed by imports heading to NWE as other outlets, with larger freight elements, become unviable.
