ROYAL Caribbean’s latest cruiseship, Independence of the Seas, is seen here in Oslo, after the company took delivery of the 160,000 gt vessel last week at Aker’s Turku yard. The vessel is en route for Southampton, where it is due arrive on Friday. A naming ceremony will be held for the Independence of the Seas on April 30. The ship is the third in the Freedom-class series and will be sailing out of Southampton for its inaugural season.
