Commanding attention Refitted Oceana is ready for action
Lloyd Werft has has completed the overhaul of P&O Cruises’ 77,499 gt Oceana, which arrived at the yard from Southampton on March 29. A number of yard workers had already embarked the vessel in England to prepare for the refurbishment of some its public rooms, including the casino and photo gallery. Before drydocking, the lifeboats and tenders were removed for inspection. The next cruise is scheduled to depart from Southampton today, sailing to Vigo, Lisbon, La Rochelle and Brest before returning to Southampton. Ralf Witthohn
