Honolulu, Sep 30 -- It was reported that an earthquake measuring 8.0 occurred south of American Samoa this morning. The Hawaiian Islands were under a tsunami watch until approximately 1030 this morning and we are currently under a tsunami advisory (meaning abnormal tides or currents). -- Lloyd's Agents.
