Swire contests Australian politicians’ claims over oil spill clean-up costs
SWIRE Shipping, operator of the general cargoship involved in a bunker spill off the Queensland coast in March, has rejected allegations from Australian politicians that it is trying to shirk its share of the clean-up costs, which reportedly run as high as A$34m ($26.9m).
