Ro-ro revamp Conversion starts on DFDS Tor Line trio
WORK continues on lengthening Tor Ficaria , the first of three DFDS Tor Line ro-ro vessels to undergo conversion at MWB Motorenwerke Bremerhaven Shipyard. The work on each vessel involves lengthening by 32 m, widening of internal ramps, installation of a larger rudder — except the Tor Begonia — and an increase in thruster power. The last of the three ships is due to leave MWB at the end of September.
