THERE has been growing interest among the public and logistics companies in the use of hybrid vehicles to reduce emissions and cut oil consumption. A Cap Gemini/Georgia Tech study last year showed 40% of logistics company customers thought the use of hybrid vehicles was important, although only 8% of logistics players were using hybrid equipment.
