US senators seek to expand quake cover
THE Tohoku earthquake in Japan has prompted Senators Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer of California to introduce legislation in Congress that would lower the cost of earthquake insurance from the California Earthquake Authority and other not-for-profit insurance programmes and enable more individuals to buy cover.
