Stolt-Nielsen, Golar and Höegh form $182m LNG venture
Three publicly listed shipping giants push a small-scale LNG investment vehicle set up by Stolt-Nielsen in 2017. The collaboration hopes to take advantage of the growing demand for LNG and deploy small-scale LNG carriers to service Italy’s Oristano terminal
The investments aim to build up an LNG company, which was set up by Stolt-Nielsen, as small vessels and terminals are expected to be increasingly used in remote locations or to supply LNG as either vehicle or ship fuel
