Make a difference in maritime safety…

The Maritime & Coastguard Agency aims to be the best maritime safety organisation in the world. We need
experienced and capable Surveyors to help us realise this vision.

No two days are the same for our Marine Surveyors. You will be required to survey, inspect and audit
a variety of different vessels to ensure UK and International Regulations are being met, delivering
exceptional customer service alongside experienced colleagues.

Successful candidates will have suffi cient experience within the maritime industry and will usually come
from one of the following disciplines:

• Master Mariner • Chief Engineer • Naval Architect

Candidates without the above qualifi cations may also be considered if they can demonstrate an equivalent
level of learning.

We want the best. And for the best Marine Surveyors we offer full training and support and a competitive
package – great career options, flexible working patterns, attractive remuneration and a Civil Service
Pension Scheme.
