NOTICE:
IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUSTICE OF ENGLAND AND WALES

Claim No.: AD-2022-000085
Any loss or damage caused to any property or to any infringement of any
rights as a result of the fire onboard the m/y “NINETEEN 71” on
12 December 2021 at Navar shipyard in Port, Montenegro.
Notice is hereby given to:
All persons claiming and/or being entitled to make claims by reason of or resulting from
or in connection with any loss, damage or delay caused to any property or to any infringement
of any rights as a result of the fire onboard the m/y NINETEEN 71 on 12 December 2021
at Navar shipyard in Port Montenegro.
A general limitation decree was made on 23 February 2023 in an Admiralty Action in
the High Court of Justice of England and Wales, no AD-2022-000085, on the application
of (1) ZURICH INSURANCE PLC (trading as NAVIGATORS AND GENERAL) and
(2) SCOTT WEAVERSWRIGHT (“the Claimants”) limiting the Claimants’ liability for
claims of a type which fall within the 1976 Convention on Limitation of Liability for
Maritime Claims to 500,000 Special Drawing Rights.
Any application to set aside the said decree must be made on or before 4.00pm on
21st April 2023.
The Claimants are constituting a Limitation Fund by way of a Letter of Undertaking from
Zurich Insurance plc, in the amount of £544,912.77 together with interest thereon.
Any claims of a type which fall within the 1976 Convention on Limitation of Liability
for Maritime Claims must be made in this Admiralty Action on or before 6 April 2023.
All applications and claims are to be filed with the Admiralty and Commercial Registry
and Listing Offices, 7 Rolls Building, Fetter Lane, London EC4A 1NL, United Kingdom
and copies sent to Claimants’ solicitors referred to below.
