Texas LNG project attracts Middle East investment
NextDecade is planning to develop a gas liquefaction and export facility named Port of Brownsville, along with a 137 mile-long feed gas pipeline called Rio Bravo as part of the project. It has already entered a 20-year sale and purchase agreement with Shell for the supply of 2m tons a year of LNG from the project
The firm is awaiting final approval by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for the project, which will liquefy natural gas from the Permian basin and Eagle Ford shale
