Oceanic Breeze delivers first Ichthys LNG cargo
Inpex has hailed a shipment from the Ichthys LNG project in Western Australia as a major milestone in building a ‘global LNG value chain business’, after the gas carrier Oceanic Breeze made its maiden call at Japan’s Naoetsu terminal to deliver the cargo on Tuesday
The 79,883 dwt LNG carrier, owned by a 70:30 joint venture between Inpex Shipping Co and Kawasaki Kisen Kaisah, is dedicated to transporting Inpex’s share of 900,000 tonnes of LNG per year from Australia to Japan
