US Coast Guard to receive pay withheld during shutdown
In a letter to the men and women of the US Coast Guard, Vice Commandant Admiral Charles Ray outlined the timeframe in which employees can expect to receive their first paycheques since December, following the conclusion of a record-length government shutdown. Civilian employees will receive a single lump sum payment by Thursday, while active duty members and reservists will receive back pay on Tuesday or Wednesday
