Oil spill fears if Russian tankers shun pilots for transit though Danish channel

The narrow straits of Denmark and Sweden are used for tankers shipping oil of Russian origin. In response to the suggestion that tankers directly violating sanctions were less likely to use pilot services, Danish Shipping said accident prevention was more important than geopolitics as there are environmental concerns should oil spills occur
