War to knock dry bulk demand growth to 1%
The loss of volumes from Ukraine and to a certain extent Russia will have a negative impact on the dry bulk market, even as fleet growth continues to shrink
The situation in Ukraine, combined with already lower assumptions for China’s appetite to draw in dry bulk commodities, has reduced demand growth to about 1% this year, according to ship brokerage Howe Robinson
