Hapag-Lloyd orders six LNG-fuelled boxships with green loan
Hapag-Lloyd is looking to synthetic LNG to reduce emissions in the medium term. It has issued a sustainability-linked bond and wants to cut its carbon intensity by 60% by 2030
Hapag-Lloyd has ordered six more 23,500 teu containerships due in 2024, having ordered six of the same size in December. They were financed in line with the Loan Market Association’s green loan principles
