All bodes well for a bumper year for carriers, so the bellwether Maersk results next week will be an early indicator of things to come. Meanwhile in dry bulk circles the fizzing capsize rates are keeping owners equally excited as the BDI hit its highest point in a decade and a half. Only in the tanker space do we still find traders nervously eyeing the horizon hoping for better times to come, and praying that Iran’s anticipated return to the market doesn’t make things worse in the meantime
