In dry bulk, panamax and supramax rates have been responsible to driving up the Baltic Dry Index to a five-month high while in the wet markets, average rates for the largest tankers have been below zero for 47 consecutive days and things don’t look much better long-term, with peak oil predicted to arrive in 2026
